Canton College Preparatory School Honored at ACCEL Leadership Summit

Canton College Preparatory School took home four major awards at this year’s ALIVE25 Summit, the annual gathering of ACCEL Schools leaders from across the country. The school earned the prestigious ACCEL Gold Award, recognizing exceptional academic achievement and strong student enrollment. Additional honors include Outstanding Student Progress, celebrating excellent in-year academic gains, and Student Progress Momentum, highlighting significant year-over-year academic growth.

The school also celebrated a special honor: Outstanding Leader of the Year, awarded to Mr. Darryl Lindsay, our school Superintendent. His commitment to excellence has motivated staff, supported students, and strengthened our school community this year.

“I’m inspired by the educators at Canton College Preparatory School for their dedication to our students,” said Ron Packard, CEO of ACCEL Schools. “They make a real difference in children’s lives, and we’re proud to recognize their success.”

Held annually, the Accelys celebrate the standout achievements of educators across ACCEL Schools’ network of 85+ public charter schools, which serve students from PreK through 12th grade. Awards recognize excellence in areas like student attendance, teacher commitment, enrollment growth, financial stewardship, and academic progress.

Congratulations to Canton College Preparatory School on a banner year!
