Canton College Preparatory School took home four major awards at this year’s ALIVE25 Summit, the annual gathering of ACCEL Schools leaders from across the country. What does this award mean for your child?  

The Momentum Award recognizes schools where student achievement is consistently improving. It is given to schools that have made significant strides in their performance index, with an improvement of 3 or more points from the 2022-2023 report card to the 2023-2024 report card. Additionally, schools must have earned a value-added progress rating of 4 or more stars to be eligible for this honor (schools with an overall rating of 5 stars are not considered for the Momentum Award).  

No matter where each child begins, our school is dedicated to helping them grow and reach their full potential. The progress reflected in our rising test scores goes beyond just numbers—they’re a clear indication that we’re on the right path and that our students are benefiting from the efforts of our entire school community.
